Kevin F. Adler
Founder and CEO
Kevin is a social entrepreneur and sociologist who never learned the word stranger. He started this work in honor of his Uncle Mark, who lived on-and-off the streets for 30 years. In December 2014, Kevin took a walk down Market Street in SF with warm tea, hot biscuits, and a simple question to his homeless neighbors: "do you have any family or friends you'd like to record a message to for the holidays?" Soon, Miracle Messages was born.
Director of Operations
In Jess’s first year at UCLA, one of her sociology professors remarked that, in the 1960’s, homelessness in the Bay Area was practically nonexistent. It was this remark that got Jess thinking about the normalization of homelessness. Jess joined Kevin at Miracle Messages as the first full-time team member, driven by her passion for improving people's lives through innovation.
